We are so glad you're considering Silver Service for your senior move, estate/moving sale or aging in place needs. Our motto is Solutions for Seniors. We hope to help you through these tough processes with the utmost care and concern. Even if you are excited about this new chapter in your life, it can seem as if there is just no way to do all that needs to be done: planning, sorting, packing, moving, and liquidating. Where do you start? How do you find reliable movers or dispose of functional household items in a way that reflects your wishes?

We love helping seniors through the moving and liquidation process and especially enjoy seeing them so happy and comfortable in their new surroundings. Our clients love our estate sale services because after they hand us the key they don't have to worry about anything.

Meet The Team

Katrina Ranieri

Katrina joined the Silver Service team in 2021 and purchased the business in the spring of 2024. With a bachelor's in art and master’s in mass communications, Katrina is creative, and her mind is always working. She became a certified senior move manager in 2022 and a licensed auctioneer in 2023. She spends much her time with the online auctions, but helps out in other areas when needed. When not working, Katrina loves to spend time with her family. With six kids and one grandchild, she’s pretty sure she will NEVER have an empty nest! She worked at St. Anne school and church and was the Assistant Director of St. Anne Outreach. If you know her, you know she loves working with people. And lucky for us, she also loves to bake! SOLD to the lady in the 2nd row!

Emily Rosher

Emily started Silver Service in 2010 after 30 years in the healthcare industry. She was passionate about her senior patients, so it was natural to start a company that served seniors. Emily strives to give her clients a smooth transition to their new homes. She is very proud to have wonderful team members who all share her vision of caring for clients and their belongings. Through the years, her business has evolved from senior moves to estate sales to online sales. Emily regularly achieves additional certifications to make sure the company knows what is happening in the industry and to provide more options for services to clients.

When Emily is not working, she enjoys volunteering with Columbus Hospice, the Auxiliary for Hope Harbour, and the Auxiliary for Salvation Army. She’s also a wife, mother to three and grandmother to four. And she practices what she preaches. She’s decluttering, has nothing on her kitchen counters and has whittled out the excess in her wardrobe. Whew!

Jennifer Brown

Jennifer has worked for Silver Service since the beginning in 2010. Her experience and love of estate sales comes from growing up with parents in the antique business. Jennifer’s an expert packer and our pricing guru. And she seems to know what EVERYTHING is! If someone on the team doesn’t know about an item we’re pricing, we ask Jennifer. Not only does she have an infectious smile, but her approach is that she’s never met a stranger. Her interest in our clients and estate sale customers makes that a reality. (If you have been to our sales or had Jennifer help with your move, you know this is true!)

Regina Collins

Regina began working with Silver Service in 2019 after retiring as an AVP from Blue Cross Blue Shield. Regina is mother to seven, grandmother to twenty-one, and great grandmother to five. And with all of those children to love, she’s still got time for us! Regina has experience wearing many hats and juggling multiple schedules. This makes her the perfect person to lead our in-person sales. She also helps with our packs and moves. Regina loves the opportunity to assist clients with life-changing moves and events.

Susan Haycock

Susan came to Silver Service September of 2020. She is a hometown girl who is married with one son. Susan has a bachelor’s in communication and a master’s in history. Her past experiences are with TSYS and she has taught adjunct at several colleges. Susan is one of our certified Senior Move Managers. She loves interacting with all her clients and hearing their stories. She’s got a great laugh and loves to play music to keep the energy up during a move! It’s not uncommon for the team and the client to start singing along!

Evelyn Dempsey

Evelyn began her journey with Silver Service in September 2020. An Army wife for 23 years, she’s raised two boys. Evelyn has lived in Europe as well as the US. She is our warehouse manager and keeps the team organized during sales and moves. We like to think of Evelyn as our Queen of Christmas! If you’ve been to our sales, you know she does an amazing job with all holiday and Christmas décor. Her love of and expertise in organizing make her a perfect fit for Silver Service.

Donna Tomayko

Donna is the Silver Service sewing expert and she’s our embroiderer, too! Donna loves working with the Silver Service team. She enjoys lining shelves for clients before they move in their new homes and often tackles kitchen organization for in-person sales. Her Home Economics degree and homemaking skills have allowed her to be dubbed kitchen expert, too. Donna is a wife, mother of four and "Mimi" to five. At this point in her life, Donna has said she is even more aware of how important it is to help and care for our clients.

Herb Franks

Herb is a Columbus native and a familiar face to many. He’s a fix-it man extraordinaire who has owned his own business through the years. Herb has fun repairing and rejuvenating items that need a little TLC before our sales. He’s got a strong knowledge of the value of many of our sale items and enjoys sharing what he’s learned. But the biggest thing is that he is able to hold his own in a team full of women!

Cindy Smith

Cindy grew up as an Army brat and that’s how she landed in Columbus. During her 30-year career with Vulcan Materials Company, she held many positions in both Birmingham and Atlanta. But her role as Executive Administrator and Meeting and Event Planner equipped her with the people and organization skills needed in this business! Cindy finds it very rewarding to help our clients and their families during what could otherwise be a very difficult time. She thinks of the work we do as "paying it forward". When she’s not organizing sale linens or prepping for an online sale, Cindy is spending quality time with her poodles, Ralphie and Georgie.

Beth Burgin

Beth joined Silver Service in the fall of 2023. A customer for years, she’s enjoying looking behind the curtain to see how the sales and moves come together! She loves interacting with clients and hearing their stories. Beth is married and has two sons. She worked in marketing for years at CB&T/Synovus and the Pastoral Institute. She’s also served as PTA president and committee chairs at her sons’ schools. Currently she’s a director at the Sara Spano PTA Clothing Bank and serves on the Board of Directors for the Columbus Botanical Gardens. When not working with us, Beth is wrangling her boys, two dogs and four chickens.

Debbie Blais

Debbie is no stranger to moving. She and her husband moved 8 times in 16 years, so she understands the ins and outs of packing and moving. Her many years in hospitality make her a good fit for taking care of Silver Service customers. Her family will tell you she loves to organize and have everything in its place. It’s a win-win! That makes our clients happy, too! She’s an asset on packing jobs, online sale pickups and in-person sales.
